Tauck Tranfers
Since Tauck provides transfers from the Hotel Metropole in Venice to the airport, I was wondering what means of transportation is used? Is it water taxi?

I just returned from this trip last week. For me, it was water taxi directly from the hotel to the airport, with a guide and baggage handler provided. I was on another Tauck Italy trip last year, and it was a combo of water taxi and van. No idea why the difference.
On this tour last year, early morning transfers were by a short water taxi ride and a van ride the rest of the way. We were told this was due to visibility. Later transfers were by water taxi all the way to the airport.
I, too, had a water taxi directly from the Metropole to the airport, but on my recent trip, had the water taxi up to a point, and then a car. I think it might depend on the time of day. My transfer this time was around 9:30 a.m.; my earlier transfers were around 3:30 a.m. (I've learned to book later flights home!)

I also had a water taxi to airport in 2023.
We had a water taxi early in the morning. It was an interesting ride.
We had a water taxi only to Venice and a water taxi + car from the hotel to the airport. The water taxi was an open-top runabout. When we arrived at the transfer point the car had not yet arrived, but a torrential rain had!!!
There was a very small covered "bus stop" that barely held us all that we crammed into to avoid getting soaked.
