Connectivity in Turkey
Hopefully we will still get to go on the Aegean Voyage: Athens to Istanbul trip in a month or so. I've been reading that it might be best to have an eSIM card for our phones in Turkey. We currently have been using Verizon's international plan in Europe and have never had any issues. For me it is not so much about the cost but about the ability to connect and use data such as Google maps etc. The current global situation makes me especially concerned. I'd be willing to get an eSIM if it makes a big difference but it seems complicated. I'd appreciate any feedback especially if you have been to Turkey. Thanks!

We just used our Verizon international plan.
I used my Xfinity plan, which operates on the Verizon network, and did not have any problems.
I used the ATT international plan - no problems. If I remember, it was $10/day back then.
Verizon worked flawlessly.
Super. Thanks all for the rapid response and reassurance.
Verizon worked perfectly for us last year. Enjoy - it's an amazing trip!
Xfinity for us. We are going to Turkey next year. Well here’s hoping, the war is starting to involve there too.
