  • Here is a WebMD link to doxycycline information if you'd like to get more information.

  • Nancilyn, I have never use doxycycline as an anti-malarial drug. I used it once for a case of cellulitis and made the mistake of parasailing in the hot summer sun. I got terribly burned. Doxycycline and strong sunshine do not mix. Please be careful and have a great trip!

  • Did anyone take malaria meds or any extra shots for this trip?

  • I didn't and I was fine.

  • Great to hear!! Thank you! (One issue crossed off my list!!)

  • Does anyone still have the day to day itinerary scanned and available to post for this tour? I would be forever grateful. We just booked this for 2025, The activity level is described as a 4. After just returning from touring in-the middle of a European heat wave, I am wondering what we are in for, given the temps in May/ June are expected to be 88-92 for the highs.

  • There are lot and lots of steps, probably why it is a 4

  • MotherOfPoodles - these aren't the daily sheets provided during the tour, but from the final documentation provided by Tauck. Not sure if this helps.

  • Thank you, Sam!

  • I personally would not rank the activity level a 4. (But British is probably right about the steps although the steps didn’t faze us). There was enough down time to enjoy some of the gorgeous resorts and three nights in the Four Seasons Sayan which was awesome!!! However, I highly recommend arriving early to spend more time in Singapore (it’s easy and very safe to get around on your own) and definitely staying an extra day at the end. The hotels on this tour are phenomenal!! It was very hot and humid when we were in Singapore but we just tried to do anything outdoors either early or late. LOVED this tour!!

I bet mil has photos of the daily sheets! :)

  • Thank you Mil! We are heading there in May/June 2025.

  • Smiling Sam...Debra Grant was my TD for Jordan & Egypt tour. She was great and very accommodating. I hope you enjoyed your trip. This one is on my list (future). I've already spent time in Singapore. The TD from my India/Nepal tour told me Singapore has changed drastically since my visit over a decade ago. Thank you for posting your daily sheets.

  • PureLuxury - Debra is great. Here she is posing at one of our last stops, the GWK Park.

  • Sam, are sure that is her?

  • Positive - Here is the top of our Guest List that shows Debra Grant as the TD. We just spent two+ weeks with her.

So unless there are two Debra Grant Tour Directors working for Tauck I'm not sure why you question it.

  • British - As you recall, the Debra Grant in the picture above, sent me this picture of you from one of your tours that she was your TD, when you asked if she remembered you and your husband.

  • Thanks Sam, I could not find a photograph of her, that’s unusua as I usually have a fun one of them for my photo book. I did think at the time that she looked like a friend of mine, so I guess that”s why she looks different…but then I do too!

  • We had Debra on J&E. She was great and was a big help with my extra curricular excursions!

  • Debra posed a few times during our trip.

  • Ah yes, that’s her. That first picture you posted just did not look like her to me. Great photos!
