SandyFeet, I'd explain some of the overall story on this privately but your profile is locked so I can't. As Alan said, there is a history here that explains why some of us reacted to kfnknfzk post they way we did.
We all offer our opinions here and they frequently don't agree -- which is (or should be) fine. Sometimes battles breakout for a variety of reasons and some can feel insulted even when they aren't. But I don't believe that here anyone's primary form of communication is insults. I don't log on here to insult anyone but to offer helpful information and personal opinion.
Update: Tauck saw my posts on the forum and tracked me down (I guess I'm the only Ken in Las Vegas with 20 trips ). They will be providing me with the missing stuff. Way to go, Tauck!
I disagree with the poster who thought all Tauck guests should be treated equally. I have completed over 45 tours with Tauck and have two more scheduled this year. I think those of us who have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars with Tauck should receive an occasional recognition. In fact, I recommended this to Tauck on my review cards for the past few years. I travel frequently with an upscale cruise line and they have had a recognition program for years - the more cruises you buy the more "goodies" you receive. As it should be, in my opinion - we deserve to be rewarded for our loyalty. In fact, I think Tauck should take this a step further and reward guests for every 25 trips, or something similar.
I heard a story (years ago) from a Tauck TD that when the first person achieved 50 tours, they paid for him to come to Tauck headquarters. They "wined and dined" him and got lots of feedback based on his experience. I'm sure that was a one-time thing, but you never know.
I believe that the people that have the large amounts of tours is because they've done a lot of the inside the US tours. Years ago I met a gentleman on a river cruise that had 47 tours and he told me they were mostly US tours.
About 95% of my Tauck tours have been outside of the US - mostly Asia, Africa (including a tour with "British") and many in Europe.
British: Hope to see you soon. I just finished three weeks in Argentina including a cruise to Antarctica (not Tauck) and I am taking the new England & West Country tour in June and Botswana in August. Maybe something else in late fall but I haven't thought that far ahead. Were you just in South America as well? Any chance you are on these tours in June and/or August? I think you were in Botswana last year?
Not sure I’ll live long enough to complete 40+ Tauck tours, lol! We completed 14 with 15 and 16 later this year, and 17 and 18 scheduled for 2026. All but one were/are international. The one US tour was Best of Hawaii.

I think travelers are getting their reservations and questions in before Tauck shuts down for their Florence, Italy trip.
Finally got thru and booked our trip just now but not on the special number. I told the agent and she said she will let them know

Wow, 45 Tauck tours. I feel like a baby. I'm not even up to 20 yet.
I wonder what the record is for number of tours.
When I was on a Seine river cruise in 2018, there was a woman who was on her 50th Tauck trip. Who knows how many she has by now?
I’ve known someone have 90 trips
Hello Smarks! Happy travels. Maybe we will be on a tour together again soon.
I think tomh might have the record.

The whole staff is going to Florence. It sent an email saying they will likely be busy before they go. Closed February 3-6!

Yes, the person I spoke of was a lot of US tours. Remember it’s not really that long ago that Tauck only did US tours.

The West country tour looks good. I love that part of England. I’ll pm you later.
