Electric Plug and Adapter for Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna & Prague

I'm sure this question has probably been asked a million times, but I'm going to have to make it a million and one. Looks like Plug E type will work for all places on this trip and that I need a voltage converter? Any recommendations?
Leaving on the May 17 tour. Thanks!

  • You don’t need a voltage converter for phones iPad or laptop

  • What devices do you need a voltage converter for?

  • Looks like I don't need a voltage converter. Thank you. But will an E plug be suitable for all these locations?

Supak - here is a reference for you.

  • A suggestion. Could Tauck include plug type information in the booklet they send out with the final itinerary?

  • Yes they could. Other companies even provide a photo.

  • Thank you, everyone. Very helpful. I love the suggestion of Tauck including the info and a photo in the travel documents. I'm a bit surprised they don't.

  • They probably assume people know how to do an internet search. The info, with pictures, is readily available

  • I’m on a trip now and lo and behold, for the first time I took the wrong converter along. Heaven knows, I have a dozen different types at home. It’s my own fault for packing at the last minute for which I will never do again for a month long trip.

  • We took the wrong converter recently too, fortunately it was only for half the trip and the TD and a hotel had a spare.

  • I bought this on Amazon, which covers almost every country and also has USB ports built in:

  • BKMD, It looks as if that one does not have the extra small two pin round type of plug that we forgot to take with us… I should correctly say that I told Mr. B I was sure we needed a smaller one but he is always right so did not take the separate one we have had for years but rarely needed.

  • British - For which country? IIRC, most of Europe uses the thin round pins and a few (Scandinavia and Switzerland) use the thick round pins, but the thin ones usually work in those.

  • It was either Argentina or Chile, Much thinner round prongs than European ones.

  • https://www.power-plugs-sockets.com/ says that both Argentina and Chile use the same plugs as Europe - Type C.

Not when we were there in January. The European plug was the type we had with us. When we got home we found the correct one in our stash. We were of course in isolated Patagonia.
